Is anyone out there thinking about spring?????  I’m guessing that your answer is “you’ve got to be kidding” and that you might think I’m a little crazy to be asking such a question when we are in the middle of a beautiful, albeit wet, fall season.  BUT, if you are like me, after enduring a long cold winter, there is nothing that speaks of the hope of new life and warmer temperatures like the flowers of spring bulbs…even if they are popping up through the leftover snow.  So in anticipation of what is to come, I’m perusing spring bulb catalogs to see what I can plant now to make my spring planting beds all that more spectacular.  Yes, if you want to see daffodils, tulips, crocus, snowdrops or any other early spring flowers, you need to plant them now.  So…..maybe…just maybe…after reading this you might start thinking spring too.  Don’t worry, I won’t think you’re crazy….
