"I believe that landscaping should be thought of as more than just an aesthetic improvement or 'curb appeal.' Well planned and constructed landscaping expands the livable spaces of your home. Just as drywall, plaster, and bricks are used to construct walls in your house, we can use plant materials and other elements to create outdoor rooms to accommodate almost any activity. Dine or entertain 'alfresco', splash and play in a secluded pool area, or relax in a private streamside retreat. I've had the pleasure of helping people turn a yard they were less than proud of into spaces like these, and I believe that is the most satisfying part of my job."

Education: B.S. in Landscape Contracting with a Horticulture minor, Penn State University, 2000

Experience: With Plantique since 2000, Michael had several years of experience in the industry prior to joining our team., and won a PLNA Gold Award in 2006 for residential design. He is always ready to get involved with challenging projects and unique landscaping requests. Whether it's an unusually shaped courtyard or a troublesome slope in your backyard, he sees opportunities for creative solutions and original space-utilizing designs. Every yard can be a homeowner's jewel, and Michael is happy to take on diamonds in the rough.
