Lou Klegarth
Landscape Maintenance Designer and Customer Service Manager

"I enjoy the challenge of working on a property where the landscape has been neglected and is in need of a complete refurbishment. Proper pruning, shrub trimming, and bed maintenance can transform any property into the neighborhood showpiece."
Education: Completed a variety of plant identification and plant disease courses at Delaware Valley College; certified herbicide and pesticide applicator.
Experience: Lou has been with Plantique since 1994, and came to us with lots of experience in landscape property management and maintenance. Currently, he manages the sales aspects of Plantique's All-Inclusive Residential Packages. He had a special talent for landscape refurbishment and enjoys revitalizing the real "fixer-upper" properties. Lou says that often the first step to success with this type of project is proper bed maintenance, such as weeding, re-mulching and bed edging. These are usually part of his overall plan for restoring older or overgrown landscapes. After that, he finds that there are always options in plant material or hardscapes that the client has not thought of before. He has an eye for seeing the potential in every home's outdoor space.
