"I enjoy both the arts and the outdoors, so landscape design was the natural career for me to choose. I love the challenges associated with every new project I am involved in and gain great satisfaction when a customer's wants and needs are fulfilled through my designs. Landscape design is not simply 'landscaping', it also means providing the customer with livable outdoor space that acts as an extension of their home.
Education: B.S. in Landscape Architecture, Temple University, 1996
Experience: Jeff came to Plantique in 2006, but began his career in landscaping 12 years earlier right here in the Lehigh Valley. Having traveled extensively across four continents, Jeff has developed a keen eye for both urban and rural landscape architecture that gives him a broad knowledge base from which to draw. Jeff specializes in many forms of landscaping, including Japanese reflection and meditation gardens and naturalistic designs, such as sustainable (self-maintaining) gardens, wildflower beds, woodland spaces and wetland boarders. He is also skilled with more traditional cottage, herb and kitchen garden designs. His achievements include contributions to Temple University's award-winning 1997 Philadelphia Flower Show educational entry, which won "Best in Show," and an ASLA People's Choice Award in 2000 for the Temple Ambler Wetland Garden.
