"I really enjoy all types of landscape design, and find the challenge of meeting most budgets and logistical problems to be part of the creative process. If I had to pick specific aspects of design as my favorites, I'd choose creating outdoor living areas and specialty gardens."
Education: B.S. in Landscape Architecture from Penn State University, 1970.
Experience: With over three decades of experience in residential landscape master planning & commercial landscape design in the both United States and Europe, Bruce heads the professional design department at Plantique. His extensive experience and creativity have garnered him many awards in the residential landscape design from PLNA and other organizations, including an "Outstanding Contribution to the Arts" recognition in 1999 from the Bethlehem Fine Arts Commission. In addition to his regular responsibilities, Bruce also contributes his time and talents to many community service projects, including: Bethlehem parks renovations; landscape renovations at William Allen High School, where he is a board member of the William Allen Construction Co.; landscape renovations at Louis E. Dieruff High School; various activities as a contributor and sponsor to the LANSHAPES project at South Mountain Middle School, in partnership with artist Jaime Perkins and the Allentown Art Museum; and landscape design for Habitat for Humanity projects in the Lehigh Valley.
